About the Role

The Director of HR leads people strategy across Elavo’s growing workforce, spanning drivers, plant staff, and corporate teams. You’ll build the policies, culture, and processes that keep employees supported and the organization compliant as the company scales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee recruiting, onboarding, and retention across all locations
  • Develop and enforce HR policies, benefit administration, and compliance with labor law
  • Manage employee relations, performance reviews, and conflict resolution
  • Partner with leadership on workforce planning and organizational growth
  • Lead payroll coordination, safety training programs, and workplace culture initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with FMCSA/DOT-related HR requirements for driver staff
